Hosting

This website runs on a server operated by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. The server is located in a data centre in Finland, within the EU.

To deliver a page, the server processes your IP address, the date and time, the requested address and the details your browser sends. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is delivering the website to you. We keep no access logs. The data is not stored after the page has been delivered.

We have a data processing agreement with Hetzner under Art. 28 GDPR.

Cookies and tracking

We use no cookies and no analytics, and we load nothing from third-party servers. The fonts are served from our own server.

If you switch between light and dark mode, your browser stores that choice in your device's local storage. It is not sent to us. The legal basis is § 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG.

Contact by email

If you write to us, we process your details to answer your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where a contract is concerned, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We delete the message once it is settled and no statutory retention period applies.

Our email is also hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, on servers in Germany. A data processing agreement covers this as well.

Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21).

You can lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Ours is the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.
